| Easy-To-Use Interface |
The highly intuitive graphical interface is designed with ease-of-use in mind and is very easy to become familiar with. |
| Motion Detection: |
Recording on motion maximizes the amount of video that can be stored on the hard drive and minimizes the time required to locate the desired video. No additional sensors are required and the sensitivity is adjustable. |
| Video Exporting: |
Video clips are easily backed up to a USB device or CD/DVD from the backup screen for playback on a PC. Recordings can be converted to .avi files or left in their original format in which case a player will be added to the backup. |
| Title, Date and Time On Screen Display |
The individual camera title plus date and time can be set in a range of colors and locations on each camera window, for display and recording. Display color changes from light to dark and back again, to provide a contrast with the video background color. |
| PTZ Camera Support: |
Various models of PTZ cameras can be controlled through the software, both locally and remotely, using an RS-485 add-on adapte. Popular protocols such as Pelco-D and Pelco-P are supported. *Please Note: there is no button to access a PTZ cameras menu and therefore it is recommended to use a PTZ keyboard. |
| Video Resolution/Recording Speed |
Camera images can be displayed and recorded in a choice of full D1 (720x480), 1/2 D1 (720x240) or CIF (360x240). Different camera images can have different resolutions and the recording frame rate can be adjusted by camera to a maximum of 30fps @ CIF and 7.5fps @ D1. |
| Remote Client Software |
The remote client software provides access to live and recorded video and all system settings remotely. Video from multiple LP Series DVRs can be viewed and recorded locally and PTZ cameras can be controlled. |
| Video Playback |
Quickly find recorded video by selecting a date, time and camera channel(s). Playback multiple channels at the same time and use the pause and playback speed adjustments to capture the desired event(s). |
| User Security |
Usernames and Passwords can be used to provide a wide range of user permissions ranging from the ability to view only some cameras to the ability to be able to perform all functions. In addition, remote users can be limited based on specific hours of a day. |
| Remote System Recording/Accessing |
Remote PCs can record locally with client software and host (server) recordings can be accessed remotely by the client software. Groups of cameras from different LP Series DVRs can be defined in the client software for watching separately or together. |
