What does POS stand for

POS stands for "Point Of Sale" . Other terms that maybe used are : "Point of Sale Solutions", "POS Register", "POS Manager", "POS System" .It is used for businesses that make sales transactions. Examples of these would be Restaurants, Motels, Liquor Stores, Pubs, Pizza Stores, Fast Food, Gas Stations, Convenience Stores.


I have never heard of Vectron Point of Sale are they new

How is your Vectron hardware different then a PC Based

We definitely take pride that we are unlike our competitors PC Based systems. The biggest advantage of our system is it does NOT run on a windows operating system. Because of this you will never get the blue screen of death, never have to renew your windows license, never catch a virus. There are as well no moving parts in a vectron system such as a fan and hard drive which will eventually break down and if you do not have a backup of your data it will be lost forever. Vectron has designed there system to run purely on memory alone, such as a ram stick you place in your computer.
